I will say that I just set up a new Zev Glock 17 with RMR, and my usual loads ran the gun just fine, but (without checking) the Zev slide seems lighter than the OEM Glock one it replaced. I just pulled the firing pin safety and sure enough the spring had gotten tweeked when I reassembled it. Agree with Danzig but I actually suspect it may have more to do with the slide, if your Suarez slide has been caracoated or duracoated there is the possibility of some build up in the slide rail slots or on the bottom of the slide in the area where the connector rides causing your problem.
