This floral mural is painted on the side of the Yumi Kim store on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Roosevelt Island is one of the best Instagram spots in NYC for two reasons. They also have a newer location in Soho at 104 Greene St, New York, NY 10012. Formerly home to jails and hospitals, it’s now a primarily residential neighborhood that has epic views of midtown Manhattan and the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge. Loved this, thank you! I’m using Long Island colloquially to refer to Nassau and Suffolk County. It was designed by the famous architect Santiago Calatrava and is a transportation hub and shopping mall that services the new World Trade Center. Cherry blossom row is most definitely one of the best Instagram spots in NYC. As a long time New York resident, I avoid going into Times Square as much as possible, but I do love to take photos of it from above. The Brooklyn Botanic Garden has two long rows of cherry blossoms that explode into an array of pink and white blooms in April or May. Old Rose is a popular Instagrammable cafe in NYC. Gitano Garden of Love is an outdoor restaurant and mezcal bar set in a 24,000 square foot tropical garden in the heart of NYC’s SoHo. It’s such a fitting name because you’ll see people from all walks of life enjoying the sun, sand and surf there. Also, don’t get confused and accidentally go to their South Williamsburg location. Photography Tip: The Sprinkles Cupcake ATM is on a busy street so you may need to dodge the crowds to get your photo. The owner and staff are also just the nicest people in NYC. Especially if you’re shooting in portrait for Instagram. Domino Park is a 6-acre public park in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The Brooklyn Bridge is one of NYC’s most famous sights and that in itself makes it one of the best Instagram spots in NYC! Photography Tip: Find the wooden stairs in my photo below.
